paints, solvents, pesticides and other chemicals. These should not be
placed in your trash!
Watch
for the semi-annual Household
Hazardous Waste Collection Event, where all your chemical items may be
safely disposed of.

Commercial
producers of hazardous waste should also contact the city Public Works
Department or the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.
