Plastic supermarket bags can be recycled at all three Sitka supermarkets. Look for the white bins at the front of each store. Recycle those bags that come from the supermarket in the first place. There should be no soiled bags. The grocers will return the bags to Seattle, where they are recycled into new bags and other products.
